v.0.7.1

Link Shortener

Create short, trackable links with custom slugs and see how often they get clicked.

Turn long URLs into short links you can share anywhere - in posts, emails, printed materials or QR codes.

Creating a Short Link

  1. Open Link Shortener and click Create new
  2. Give the link a Name so you can find it later (only you see it)
  3. Paste the Destination URL - the page people should land on
  4. Optionally pick a domain and type a custom slug
  5. Click Create link

If you leave the slug empty, a random one is generated for you.

Custom Slugs

The slug is the part after the domain, e.g. spring-sale in example.com/spring-sale.

  • Use lowercase letters, numbers, - and _ only
  • Each slug can be used once per domain - if it's taken, you'll see an error and can pick another
  • Short and readable beats clever: webinar-2026 is easier to type than wbnr26x

Tracking Clicks

Every short link counts its clicks. You can see the total in the Clicks column of your links table.

Tip: Use a separate short link per channel (newsletter, social, print) to see which one performs best.

UTM Links

If the destination URL contains UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, ...), they're detected automatically and you can save the link to your UTM Campaigns too.

Links created from the UTM Builder are hidden in the table by default - toggle Show UTM links to see them.

Editing and Deleting

  • Click a link's name or the edit icon to change its name, destination, domain or slug
  • Changing the destination keeps the short URL the same, so links you already shared keep working
  • Deleting a link is permanent - anyone using it afterwards will no longer be redirected

Without an Account

You can shorten a few links without signing up on the Shorten page. Create a free account to manage, edit and track your links.

Limits

Each plan has a maximum number of saved links. Your current usage is shown above the links table - delete links you no longer need to free up space.
